As a Food Service Specialist you will prepare and serve approximately 200 meals per day to our clients according to established methods and procedures while maintaining high standards of food preparation and service with an emphasis on maintaining the salad bar, menu appeal, maximum nutritional value and high standards of sanitation and safety. This is a part time role on the weekends serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.


+ Saturday and Sunday: 7:00am - 5:00pm



oHigh school diploma or equivalent

oCertificate in health and sanitation as required by the Arlington County Health Department

oServe Safe Certification; Food Managers Certificate


oTwo years experience in food service, including institutional food production

oExperience working in residential community


oAbility to comply with state and federal regulations regarding confidentiality

oGeneral computer knowledge and skills, including, but not limited to use of email and basic electronic timekeeping

oVerbal ability to read and understand written instructions, recipes and labels
