We are seeking a Residential Supervisor to be responsible for maintaining
the therapeutic milieu through supervision of the Residential Staff and the Residential
Community Structure. This position is responsible
for maintaining the facility as a drug free environment and oversees
Residential Life Trainings and recreational components of the program.



+ Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field

+ Master's Degree preferred

+ Certified as a Substance Abuse Counselor - Assistant
(CSAC-A), Commonwealth of Virginia

+ Possess valid driver's license and safe driving


+ Two years supervisory experience


+ Ability to prepare and maintain required

+ Ability to comply with state and federal regulations
regarding confidentiality

+ Knowledge of recreation therapy, family therapy and
behavior management techniques

+ Ability to work and communicate with others

+ Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with

+ Possess a thorough knowledge of various treatment
methods and experience working with diverse populations

+ Knowledge of Virginia licensure requirements and Human
Rights regulation

+ Knowledge of the 12 Core Counseling Functions

+ Knowledge of therapeutic milieu and experience
working with large residential community

+ General computer knowledge, including Microsoft
Word, email, and basic timekeeping methods

+ Excellent written and verbal skills


+ Flexibility required; day and evening shifts
